Hello Everyone!
When behind the wheel of a Automobile with a Instructor, Please pay attention to what they will tell you to do.
1. Be sure to scan the road & pay attention to what other driver's & pedestrian's are doing. This will help avoid accidents.
2. Be careful to keep the automobile in between the center line & the white line that runs alongside the right of the road. This is very important also just in case your automobile were to drift left of center, for example & you had a head on collision with a oncoming car going the opposite way. Head on collisions are about the worst kind of accident as you are thrown forward very rapidly & can have a very tragic ending if seat belts are not used & you are thrown against the dashboard or out of a window in the car. For best results, keep both hands at the 8 & 4 o'clock positions of the steering wheel. This will help you control the car much better.
3. When in the car with a Driver's Ed Instructor, you're allowed to ask them questions if you are unsure of yourself & you're welcome to do so. Never hesitate to ask, especially if you are nervous driving & your instructor will help you out even more.
4. If you do not pay attention or do as you're asked by your instructor, do not expect any sympathy from them if you mess up. Driving Schools will do their best to help you out. however, they cannot afford to or let just anybody drive who will not follow instructions well as that can be a danger to the General Driving Public as well & is a very huge liability for the school also.
5. When on the road with your instructor, please let them know if you need to make a restroom stop, stretch your legs, or get a drink of water & they will oblige you.
The above guidlines are not all inclusive as there are many facets to driving that your school will teach you. Please heed them & you will be better off for it.
