Hello All!
If you find that you are about to be pulled over by a Police Officer or Highway Patrol, here's what you do.
1. Keep both hands on the Wheel or in front of you so that they can see you have no weapons or plan to to something to them. 2. Do not yell, scream, or curse at an officer. They are trying to do their job & life will be easier for you as long as you do what they ask you to. If you insists on giving them a hard time, then you most likely deserve to be arrested! 3. If you have your purse or wallet in the Glovebox or a compartment somewhere, let the officer know & they will let you find it & present it to them. 4. Keep your cool & all will be well for you. 5. Never give an officer an attitude or tell them you know the local sheriff or police chief. Chances are, they've heard it all before. Put the car in park & turn off the ignition, Do not try to outrun a Police Car. This is very foolish & can result in a terrible accident somewhere & you could possibly face Jail time, fines, & your license suspended, probably for life too depending on the juristiction.
6. Remember that officers have families also & want to go home every night to them. Just keep in mind the above & you'll be fine.
